Tiphaine joined the team in April 2026 for a 22-month postdoctoral position on the RESCUE project, alongside Myriam Blanchin (research engineer) and Véronique Sébille (research director).

Tiphaine worked several years at the BPH, with Cécile Proust-Lima and Alexandra Foubert-Samier on the progression of multiple system atrophy (a rare neurodegenerative disease). She developed methods to jointly model the progression of clinical markers and the risk of events during patient follow-up. After defending her PhD in December 2024, she spent a year in New Zealand applying these methods to Parkinson’s disease.

This new project, based on the developement of a longitudinal Rasch model with continuous time and accounting for response shift, follows her previous work, with a more refined approach to questionnaire data.
